This magical piece started as an "eco print”, whereby the artist has picked live foliage from trees and bushes, then printed them onto silk, steaming them to be permanent. Thereafter, the leaves are removed and the artist then paints the animal into the scene of foliage and also adds painting embellishments and washes to complement the original imprints from mother nature.
